Representative in one of the groups, assists in coordinating classes, and enables the preservation of disappearing techniques. Is Bilingual in Spanish and Tzutujil, with two years of formal education. Born in 1960, formerly living in the temporary shelters of Tzanchaj, she is now living in a high-risk area of Canton Panabaj with four of her six children. She is the head of her household, a widow from the years of armed conflict in Guatemala, and plays key spiritual and leadership roles in her church. Antonia has a long history of participation in the community and is a skilled weaver with a broad knowledge of related techniques.
